- AMP is a project now and we advise you not to rush and implement AMP if you are not a news portal, a blogger or a content editor.
- AMP is an open-source framework to allow fast site loading and content distribution. It's basically a faster version of HTML called AMP HTML. If you want to keep the non-AMP version of your site, the AMP version will have "/ amp" in the URL.
- Although this is a Google project, it is not a ranking factor. Not yet! But this is recommended for certain types of websites. Mainly to improve UX, which leads to better optimization of mobile devices. And this is a ranking factor.
Why AMP?
AMP was first announced on October 7, 2015. After a period of technical preview, AMP pages began appearing in Google mobile search results in February 2016. AMP was initially criticized for giving Google additional control over the Internet. The AMP project announced that it will move to an open governance model on September 18, 2018.
Quick Navigation For Mobile Phones
AMP is optimized for mobile browsing and is designed to help load web pages faster. AMP pages can be cached by a CDN, such as Microsoft Bing or Cloudflare AMP caches, which allow pages to run faster.

- AMP HTML: The AMP framework consists of three components: AMP HTML, which is a standard HTML markup with web components; AMP JavaScript, which manages the loading of resources; and AMP caches, which serve and validate AMP pages. Most AMP pages are shipped with Google AMP Cache, but other companies may accept AMP Cache. The Internet security and performance company Cloudflare launched an AMP cache in March 2017.
- AMP JS: It is responsible for the fast delivery of AMP sites due to the fast loading of resources and the addition of custom tags. The biggest advantage is the creation of asynchronous external sources. This means that nothing on the site can block anything else.
- Cache AMP: Cache AMP is placed on Google. It is a proxy-based content delivery network that allows the website to play quickly. After you visit an AMP page, Google caches its content. This way, anyone else visiting the same page will be loaded from Google's AMP cache. In addition, it includes a validation system to verify that the page is working properly and meets all AMP requirements.
- AMP Email: In 2019, Google announced the new AMP Email section of AMP. Email AMP allows senders to include AMP components in attractive emails, making the functionality of the modern application available in email. The AMP e-mail format provides a subset of AMP HTML components for use in e-mail messages, allowing AMP e-mail recipients to dynamically interact with content directly in messages.
